Candidates who are dreaming of joining the prestigious National Defence Academy  to have an career full of excitements and new challenges at a young age can now apply for the NDA Written examination conducted by the UPSC. Through this entry, candidates can join the INDIAN ARMY, INDIAN NAVY, AND INDIAN AIR FORCE as an OFFICER. Below, I have mentioned important details related to the examination such as notification, application, age limit, eligibility,  cut-off marks, exams, fee details, admit cards and SSB dates. Also, I request the aspirants to kindly go through the notification whose link I am providing below for correct and complete details.


DATE OF THE EXAMINATION
 The National Defence Academy written examination will be conducted by the Union Public Services Commission on the 22nf of April, 2018, for admission to ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE wings for the NDA 141st Course and for the 103rd INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY course.


 ELIGIBILITY 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: 
  • For Army Wing: Passed class 12 from a recognized Board.
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings: Passed class 12 from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12.
  • Candidates appearing in Class 12 can also appear for the examination.
  • Candidates who are yet to appear for the class 12 examination must note that this is only a special concession given to them, They are to produce their Class 12 passing certificate when joining the academy, failure to do which can result in cancellation of Candidature.
GENDER: Male
MARITAL STATUS: Unmarried
DOB- Not earlier than 2nd July, 1999, and not later than 1st July, 2002.




FEES OF THE EXAMINATION:  

For General candidates: The Exam fee is Rs. 100 for each candidate, which can be paid through Card or Online or through the payment of a Challan at a nearby SBI Branch.

For SC/ST Candidates/ Son's of JCO's and NCO's :  Exempted from any fee.

Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakhapatnam.

Last date for online application: Upto 1800 hrs on 05th February, 2018
Exam Date: 22nd April, 2018
SSB Dates- August to September, 2018
Joining: January, 2019
